Gosh - I can't even imagine how to start this when the first thing that rushes to my eyes are tears and tears.  I am only twenty years
old but I am so sorry that I haven't stopped this, that my parents couldn't stop this, and I just have to remember that God's will can
not be stopped.  I know that the occupation will end whether Israel will like it or not!  The sooner the better!  I am still in my
studies in the USA but I give you my word I always make sure that I am fighting for Palestine either in my words or through education
with articles or videos.  God willing one day I will be able to travel to Palestine and maybe to your village (I am only scared that
they will arrest me for beating up the settlers who try to use violence against Palestinians!!)

Dear Tel Rumeida families, I have read much about the difficulty of your situation and for years I have felt so ashamed that my government is working with Israel to make your future even darker than it is. But I promise you that I am working and will continue to work, as best I can, to reverse this trend, because I strongly believe that peace is within our reach. I've spent a lot of time recently watching the videos and reports of the crimes committed by the settlers and their children. There is no justification for how the settlers and soldiers treat you. I can't imagine what it must be like to endure that treatment every day of your life. Your story must be told so that the world can know the truth of what the settlements are doing to the Palestinian people.

I have seen many a program about Palestinians living in Tell Rumeida and couldn`t believe what I saw at that time. The treatment of Palestinians by a malicious Jewish minority backed up by an entire army is downright shamefull. In an area where there is such a lawless community, in which people are goverened only by hate and and partiality, one could easily imagine that some Palestinian residents would resort to different measurements. From what I have gathered on information provided sofar, is that there is a total lack of interest by western goverments in this matter. As in many other Palestine and Israeli conflicts there is always a tendency to lean towards the Israeli viewpoint. I, for one, have to say, that I feel deeply ashamed for the goverment of my country. I am 30 years of age, and know very well about the guilt my country still seems to feel towards Israel because of what happened during the second world war. This is no excuse for me anymore, I can only hope that the younger generations in western countries put an end to this everlasting, vision blurring, guilt trip. The lack of objectivity in matters like these is simply shocking. I would hereby like to express my support for the palestine people especially those in Tel Rumeida.
